Description: Until now, we discussed what Fake News are and what makes it difficult to identify and categorize them. Deconstructing them is not always an easy task, namely if you want to introduce them in the classroom, as pedagogical resources. In this part of the module, you will go beyond your own considerations of what Fake News are and look into and reflect the work of fact-checking platforms. You will also acquire technical skills to make your own discourse and multimodal analysis of a Fake News and get to work hands-on by deconstructing you own piece of disinformation. The main idea is that you will be able to reinvest these skills in the classroom.
